Position Overview Interdependence is looking for a motivated and passionate Account Executive (AE) to enhance our Health & Lifestyle practice. The right candidate is an outstanding communicator and imaginative storyteller excited by where wellness, healthcare, and consumer lifestyles converge. This role involves managing everyday public relations tasks for premier health and lifestyle brands, encompassing earned media efforts, client engagements, and campaign rollout. The AE will team up with account managers to achieve quantifiable successes, establish media ties, and develop captivating narratives that bridge audiences with brands dedicated to bettering health and wellness. Key Responsibilities Function as the main daily point of contact for clients, providing swift responses and superior outputs. Assist in creating and deploying PR approaches that sync with client aims. Offer innovative suggestions in ideation and planning discussions. Media Relations & Storytelling Energetically pitch to media in health, wellness, and lifestyle fields to gain earned exposure. Develop and maintain connections with journalists, editors, influencers, and key opinion leaders. Compose genuine press assets such as releases, alerts, fact sheets, and speaking points. Campaign Execution Carry out and oversee PR initiatives like product introductions, wellness campaigns, influencer collaborations, and events. Partner with creative, content, and social media groups for unified messaging and alignment. Supervise timelines, organize deliverables, and follow progress on various accounts. Research & Reporting Remain current on rising trends in health, wellness, fitness, and lifestyle domains. Observe and assess coverage to supply practical insights for clients. Assemble media recaps and performance analyses. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. 1–2 years of PR or communications experience (agency background strongly preferred). Demonstrated interest in health, wellness, fitness, and lifestyle brands. Strong writing and editing skills with a flair for storytelling. Experience conducting proactive media outreach and securing placements. Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail. Collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
