Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our client's team in the Philadelphia area. This Accounts Payable Supervisor role requires a strong background in accounting and leadership, as you will oversee crucial financial processes and ensure compliance with company standards. You will play a key role in managing invoice processing, troubleshooting system issues, and delivering accurate reporting to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Esker Accounts Payable system, ensuring smooth operation and functionality.
• Supervise invoice processing activities and audit queues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system errors while providing technical support to the team.
• Handle escalated inquiries with professionalism and provide timely resolutions.
• Prepare accurate month-end spend reports to support financial planning and analysis.
• Manage audit requests and generate ad hoc reports as needed to meet organizational requirements.
• Monitor compliance issues and escalate potential fraud or irregularities promptly.

The ideal Accounts Payable Supervisor candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration

Other requirements for the Accounts Payable Supervisor position include and are not limited to:

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting
• Prior team leadership, supervisory or mentoring experience
• Familiarity with Esker or similar Accounts Payable systems preferred
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
