If you're an Andrology Laboratory Technician looking for a new opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where your talent contributes to changing people's lives, then we want to talk to you. This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatment.

We have an immediate opening for a Part-time Andrology Laboratory Technician to join our team in our Menlo Park, CA office. The schedule is every weekend, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00am - 12:00pm and 1-2 days during the week. The pay range for this position is $55-$65/hr.

How You’ll Contribute:

We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Andrology Laboratory Technician is responsible for:

• Shipping, receiving and disposition of frozen samples.
• Ordering and receiving lab supplies
• Examine and process specimens for routine semen analysis.
• Perform counts for concentration and motility, perform histological techniques for identifying leucocytes, immature germ cells, and morphology.
• Process semen for ART procedures and intrauterine inseminations (IUIs)
• Perform semen cryopreservation.
• Assure proper sample collection, delivery, and identification (chain of custody)
• Perform daily/monthly quality control procedures for media and equipment used in the Andrology laboratory.
• Assist laboratory personnel in performing lab services in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and guidelines to ensure laboratory maintains accreditation.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree with ASCP certification and CA license required for performing high complexity tests.
• 1-2 years minimum experience, 2-4 years preferred.
• Must meet CLIA ‘88 requirements of education and experience for General Supervisor or Technical Supervisor
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Knowledge of office procedures and office machines (i.e., computer, fax, copier, etc.)
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated expertise in continuous quality improvement, customer service, and team building.
• Ability to travel throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
