Piedmont Security & Patrol Services, LLC is seeking dedicated, hard working men and women who take pride in serving others.

Role and Responsibilities

• Employee may be engaged in foot patrol, vehicle patrol and/or traffic control duties.
• Will be responsible for preventing and detecting crimes, ensuring safety of authorized persons on contracted sites, apprehending suspects/criminals, and may be required to testify in court.
• Also responds to complaints, requests for services, preparing records and reports.
• Tact and firmness are required in frequent public contact.
• Must be capable of good judgement and making independent decisions.
• Applicant must be truthful and display good ethics and morals.
• Officers may be required to work (6), (8), (10), or (12) hour permanent or rotating shifts depending on the specific needs of the agency.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Applicants must successfully complete a screening and evaluation process which include but is not limited to the following: Thorough Background Investigation, Psychological Evaluation, Physical Examination, and/or Drug Screen.

• Must be a minimum of 21 Years of Age
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• MUST Possess a VALID Armed NC Private Protective Services Board Registration Card
• MUST Possess a VALID North Carolina Drivers License
  • Successful applicants will have no more than two (2) moving violations or one (1) at-fault collision within the last 5 years.
• Applicant must have a clean criminal record (No felonies, serious misdemeanors, or recent traffic citations)

Preferred Skills

Fluent writing skills are required for report writing. Clear communication is a must. May occasionally work outdoors in various weather conditions, may be required to stand, walk or operate vehicles for long periods of time.

Additional Notes

This position is subject to a probationary period.
