As a Armed Security Professional - Government Site in New Port Richey, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor for and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or potential threats within the government facility.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity.
  • Interact with visitors, staff, and the public in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance as needed.
  • Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other security-related equipment in accordance with company and site-specific policies.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • An active armed guard card or license is required; an armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
