We are looking for a Biology & Chemistry Teacher for a High school based in Shanghai. This is full-time position and will commence in August 2025. About the schoolSituated in the bustling metropolitan of Shanghai, China, this bilingual school resides in the Pudong district and is spread across a terrain of 35,000 m2. It comprises of a kindergarten, primary, middle and high school divisions. The school offers courses that are based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs with the English language being the medium of instruction. Job responsibilitiesTeach the subjects of biology and chemistry to high school students ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experiencePreparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report commentsCollaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculumAssess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improveProvide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregiversDevelop supportive and safe learning environments QualificationsBachelor’s degree required, Master degree in Education or related subjects preferredExcellent communication skillsTeaching Credentials from respectable universities preferredProactive and collaborate with colleagues to develop activities Salary and benefitsMonthly salary of 22,000 to 28,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualificationsMonthly housing allowance of up to 6,000 RMBFlight reimbursement up to 10,000 RMBMedical insuranceSummer and winter holidaysNational holidaysMeal allowanceResidence and work permit sponsored
