About the role:

As an Carrier Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to support our Customer Sales Representative's by servicing our customers transportation needs and drive revenue.

What you’ll be doing:

• Communicate with the Customer Sales Representative to help sustain, build, and grow their Book of Business 
• Help manage and grow an established Book of Business's daily shipment activities by helping with quoting, negotiating, building, selling, and resolving issues to ensure on-time pickup and delivery of each shipment 
  • Help with any internal matters relative to Book of Business's daily activities such as potential claims, service failures and accounting responsibilities as needed

What you need:

• College degree preferred, but not necessary
• 1 year of experience, but not required
• The determination to work harder than anyone you know
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, while being forthright about conflict
• Ability to work with the latest technologies
• An obsession for great customer service

Where you'll be: Chicago, IL (River North)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
