We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Heavy Haul Transport Driver to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of oversized and overweight loads, including heavy equipment and machinery, to various job sites. 

• Operate heavy haul trucks and trailers to transport large or specialized loads in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standard.
• Secure loads using chains, binders, and tarps according to load requirements and state/federal guidelines.
• Plan and follow designated routes while maintaining schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with Manager, mechanics, and site personnel to ensure smooth transport operations.
• Complete and maintain accurate trip logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and participate in safety meetings or trainings.
• Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of assigned truck and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy haul or oversized/overweight trasport preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement, and route planning for heavy haul.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and safety awareness.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb onto equipment, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Extended periods of driving and sitting.

Schedule:
Full-time; may include weekends, overnight travel, and extended hours based on project needs.
