We're looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility!

CMA Details

• Full Time Schedules
• Every other weekend is required
• 12 hour shifts available
• Contract Position

CMA Duties

• Administer prescribed medications to incarcerated individuals in accordance with healthcare provider orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor and document medication administration, ensuring that it is done at the correct time, dosage, and method (oral, topical, injection, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration logs and inventory, ensuring proper documentation for audits or inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and correctional facility regulations related to medication administration and health services.
• Assist in other healthcare-related tasks as required by the facility, including taking vital signs, assisting with health screenings, or providing basic first aid.

CMA Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution
• Licensed as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
• 1+ year of relevant Certified Medication Aide (CMA) experience
