FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $38.91 - $60.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Join us in making a meaningful impact on patients' lives by collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will perform a holistic care continuum that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates patient care options. You will use your expertise in communication and education to promote quality, cost-effective outcomes in various care settings, including utilization management and specialty care.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize critical thinking skills and the nursing process based on evidence-based practice to address patients' health care needs.
• Build collaborative partnerships with clients to help them understand their health care needs and make informed decisions.
• Advocate for and educate clients and their families about treatment options, community resources, and self-care strategies to foster independence.
• Facilitate communication among health care delivery team members while involving clients in the decision-making process.

We are looking for someone with strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Certification as a Case Manager (CCM) is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with acute care and 1 year in Case Management preferred.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required before the start date.
