Positions are available throughout the state in Connecticut and local to Westerly, RI

There is no job more meaningful and rewarding than helping someone who cannot help themself. Masonicare at Home is Masonicare's non-medical homecare agency.We are currently hiring private caregivers and homemakers for live-in OR hourly work throughout the state. Our services require a 3 hour minimum. Many of our clients are located in Masonicare facilities throughout the state of CT (Wallingford, Mystic, and Chester). Community based clients are available as well.

If you have reliable transportation and are willing to learn, we will train you!

Homemaker/Companion

HmCm can assist in a variety of ways to keep clients safe, entertained, and active at home. Duties may include:

• Conversation and general companionship

• Adult Daycare in the home

• Light Housekeeping: vacuum, dust, wash floors, dishes, pick up around the home

• Changing bed and bath linens

• Laundry: washing and folding

• Meal Prep

• Running errands

• Medication reminders

• Assist with phone calls, appointment scheduling, mail

• Recreation: reading, games, crafts, outdoor/indoor walks, etc.

• Drive or accompany client to appointments: doctor, hair salon, nail salon, etc.

Personal Care Svcs

In addition to the duties outlined above, a personal care attendant or PCA is trained to provide some additional services:

• Bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care and feeding.

• Toileting and incontinence Care

• Assisting with exercises, ambulation and transfer activities
