A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION HVAC FOREMAN This is skilled foreman work in directing the installation, modification, and repair of HVAC and related systems, equipment, and fixtures. This individual is responsible for planning, laying out, participating in, and supervising HVAC work on job site. The employee works with considerable independence, where some technical supervision is provided.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION HVAC FOREMAN - Plans and lays out work from oral and written instructions; assigns and supervises the work of HVAC personnel engaged in the installation and repair of HVAC system.
- Estimates job labor and materials, requisitions materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Conducts regular inspections of work in progress and on completion; participates in the more complex HVAC tasks.
- Confers with officials on proposed HVAC projects and makes recommendations. Recruits and trains skilled and trades helper personnel.
- Establishes safety and work performance standards for subordinates. Performs related work as required.

Monday - Friday ,
