Pacific International has been retained by a global leader in the home manufacturing space with over 10,000 employees.

The organization operates across range of categories, including water innovations, outdoor living, and security products, the company is experiencing rapid growth through technology-driven, sustainable solutions. They are currently seeking a dynamic Senior Distribution Manager to lead the operations at two key distribution centers. This role will be essential in driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and ensuring exceptional delivery to customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:

• Lead operations at two distribution centers to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries while meeting customer expectations.
• Develop daily performance plans for each department based on volume requirements and report key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with demand planning and manufacturing teams to ensure timely product deliveries that meet customer needs.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead multiple distribution teams through servant leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct daily meetings with both shifts and leadership teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on operational goals.
• Develop future leaders by providing growth opportunities and fostering a high-performance culture.

Process Improvement & Change Management:

• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize processes and drive operational efficiencies.
• Lead change management initiatives by assessing situations, understanding impacts, and executing solutions to improve business outcomes.
• Challenge traditional performance metrics and implement new approaches to enhance productivity and service delivery.

Safety & Compliance:

• Drive a progressive safety culture, ensuring all safety standards are met and maintained across all facilities.
• Implement and monitor compliance with safety protocols, including maintaining and reporting all incidents to proactively mitigate future risks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant supply chain/manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years leading large-scale, cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, supply planning, and logistics.
• Experience operating in an ERP environment.
• Expertise in Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Leadership skills with a focus on developing teams and fostering a positive, productive work culture.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
