Finisher Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Finisher. Position Type: Full time Contract, Contract to Hire Duration: 12 months Location: Amityville, NY (Onsite/2nd Shift/3:30pm-1am)

Job Description:

• Work with various equipment to perform the following functions.
• Mask using proper protective tape to mask and unmask per work instruction.
• Sand using proper equipment (Da or dotco sanding equipment) and appropriate sandpaper grit.
• Mix and apply various sealants and adhesives and ensure integrity per work instruction.
• Work in a fast-paced, high performing, and inclusive environment.
• Observe industry best practices for FOD, 5S, and material handling controls.
• Ensure that you are following all safety requirements/PPE.
• Promote and facilitate lean manufacturing principles within an environment of continuous improvement.

An Ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
• Any finishing/painting in the Autobody industry (Sanding/masking/protective tape/finishing).
• People that have worked on construction have also worked out (Sheetrocking).
• Basic computer skills/literate able to follow work instructions, enter timecard online etc., windows/MS office.

Pay Range*: $25-$27 per hour. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
