Job Description
The City of North Olmsted is seeking a dynamic Fire Chief to lead its Fire Division. This is an open, competitive promotional opportunity available to both internal and external candidates who meet the qualifications outlined in the job description.
Key Responsibilities include :
Lead and manage fire department operations
Ensure compliance with city ordinances and safety regulations
Oversee personnel, training, and emergency response strategies
Collaborate with city leadership and public safety departments
Minimum Requirements :
Must meet or exceed qualifications in the Fire Chief job description
Strong leadership and administrative experience in fire services
Relevant certifications and education in fire science or public safety
Salary Range up to $132,761.62
