Overview Join to apply for the Food Quality Assurance Sampling Tech role at Nature's Touch Frozen Foods . This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Front Royal, VA facility. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support both shifts. The role supports the quality assurance team by collecting, preparing, and analyzing samples to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of food products throughout production. Key Responsibilities Promote safety first and maintain a safe, positive, and productive workplace culture. Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards across all operations. Assist in sampling raw materials (frozen fruits/vegetables) for micro and physical analysis; sample aseptically. Record and maintain data using an iPad. Work in cold environments (35-50°F in cold dock and production; can reach Lift and move 30- to 40-pound cases of fruits/vegetables regularly; perform bending, lifting, stooping, and coordinated tasks as required. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or related field preferred. 1–2 years of experience in a food manufacturing or laboratory setting as a quality control technician. Skills & Competencies Understanding of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF, ISO). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately. Good communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable working in production, cold storage, and laboratory environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or laboratory software systems. Work Location & Working Conditions Front Royal, VA — on-site; full-time role with a Monday to Friday schedule and shift flexibility. Work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to cold temperatures and loud machinery. Regular standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
