Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team at WCDC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and meet the following qualifications.

You must have a high school diploma, 2,600 hours of verified experience working with children, clearances (background check, child abuse clearance, etc.), strong communication skills and a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

A CDA (Child Development Associate) credential is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities are to assist in the daily care and supervision of children, support curriculum delivery and classroom activities, foster a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children, maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space, and collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the best outcomes for children.
