Job Description

My client is seeking a proactive and well-rounded HR Generalist to join their team. This individual will lead day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance, driving employee engagement, and serving as a key point of contact for employee inquiries. The HR Generalist will work across core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of working with limited to no supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, including coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
  • Lead recruitment processes including job postings, screening, and coordination of interviews
  • Maintain HRIS records and ensure accuracy of employee data and reporting
  • Handle benefits administration, open enrollment, and liaising with benefit vendors
  • Address employee relations issues and escalate as necessary to HR leadership
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
  • Conduct training programs and professional development initiatives
  • Generate HR reports and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Lead company culture initiatives and employee engagement efforts
  • Work independently and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience processing payroll operations required
  • 5-10 years of HR experience required
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, UKG, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
