At St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, our mission draws talent from around the world - and our immigration team helps make that possible. We're seeking an Immigration Specialist who combines hands-on visa experience with empathy, precision, and creativity. This role supports international employees, trainees, and visitors across the institution, ensuring smooth and compliant immigration processes that allow great people to focus on lifesaving work.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience managing H-1B cases end to end, applying sound judgment throughout the petition process, and brings a working knowledge of J-1 and PERM processes. You'll handle a mix of straightforward and complex cases, manage filings from start to finish, and think critically through evolving immigration challenges. Beyond paperwork, you'll build trusted, one-on-one relationships with employees and departments, offering clear guidance and compassionate support at every step. You'll join a tight-knit, collaborative, and dynamic team known for its professionalism, respect, and cohesion. We value both technical expertise and human understanding - and we approach each case with the awareness that immigration is personal as well as procedural. The team also develops creative programming that helps international candidates connect with Memphis and feel at home in their new community. This is a great opportunity to grow within the employer side of immigration - expanding your experience, learning new processes, and contributing to a mission that truly changes lives.
