Responsibilities:

The Lead Budtender will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on sales floor, mentoring the budtender team, and ensuring excellent guest service. As a crucial part of our leadership's team, the Lead Budtender will uphold Off the Chart's high standards, promote a positive work environment, and set the tone for success.

• Ensure all guests are greeted upon arrival and departure with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Maintain advanced-level product knowledge and stay updated on the latest cannabis trends.
• Answer detailed guest questions about cannabis strains, their effects, medicinal uses, and safe consumption methods.
• Educate staff and guests on products while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coach and mentor budtenders to ensure exceptional performance and engagement.
• Oversee accurate processing of payments and proper use of the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, well-stocked, and compliant with company policies.
• Address and resolve guest concerns or staff issues promptly and professionally.
• Support management in ensuring smooth daily operations, including delegating tasks as needed.
• Enforce compliance with age and identification verification requirements.
• Report to management regarding operational updates, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of cannabis industry experience, including budtending.
• Previous leadership experience (team lead, supervisor, or similar role).
• Knowledge in cannabis, METRC, Inventory Management

Skills & Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of cannabis strain varieties, their medicinal benefits, and associated laws.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in retail technologies and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data, track trends, and implement data-driven decisions.

Job Type: Full-time, 8-hour shift,

Pay: $22.00 -$25.50 per hour
