Compensation:
Starting at $25/hr
Duties:
- Support the Foreman in organizing and managing daily job site activities.
- Lead by example and motivate crew members to maintain high standards of work.
- Assist with training new team members and monitoring crew performance.
- Read and follow project plans, specifications, and safety procedures.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor work quality and help resolve on-site issues or delays.
- Communicate effectively with the Foreman and team regarding progress and challenges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.Step into Foreman duties when the Foreman is absent or unavailable.
Skills:
- 3+ years of roofing experience (shingle, metal, flat, or other systems).
- Proven leadership abilities and good communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of roofing tools, materials, and safety practices.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Working at Heights and Fall Arrest certification (or willing to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license an asset.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
