Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Licensed professional counselor (LPC) who provides diagnostic assessments and individual, group, or family therapy services. This position is strictly clinical and does not involve case management or community psychiatric support services (CPST/TBS). The Counselor's responsibilities are limited to therapy and assessments only.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions within the counselor’s scope of practice.
Complete diagnostic assessments and treatment plans as required.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with agency policy and Medicaid guidelines.
Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.
LICENSURE/QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold a Master’s degree and an active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the State of Ohio.
Valid Ohio Driver’s License and personal vehicle insurance.
Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
