Opportunity Highlights
• Schedule: Daily 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (end time varies); weekend coverage 1:3
• Job Setting: Inpatient and OR coverage, rounding with the surgeon, procedures as needed
• Type of Cases: Vein harvesting, first assisting in OR, A-line/central line placement, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and consults as needed
• Responsibilities:
– Daily rounding with surgeon (Saturday/Sunday included)
– Patient care management and consults during daytime hours
– Fielding patient care pages during the day; surgeon takes all first call nights/weekends
– Not required to remain in-house after rounds; may be called back in for emergencies or assistance as needed
• Credentialing: Emergency privileges available; expedited start possible

Minimum Requirements for Consideration
• Board Certified / Board Eligible: Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (ATLS preferred)
• Licensure: Wisconsin license or open to candidates eligible for Wisconsin licensure
