About the Role

The M&A Integration Manager will lead the planning and execution of end-to-end integration efforts for acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with iCapital's operating model and strategic goals. This role serves as a critical bridge between strategy and execution, working cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver seamless, value-accretive integrations. The ideal candidate will drive smooth transitions and help realize the long-term value of acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Corporate Development and executive leadership to define integration strategies aligned with deal rationale.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across business units and support functions (e.g., HR, IT, Finance, Legal).
  • Conduct pre-close integration assessments and develop Day One readiness plans.
  • Lead cross-functional integration teams, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Develop and manage the business and technology integration plan, outlining key milestones and requirements to achieve deal-specific value and synergies.
  • Established detailed project plans, KPIs, and risk mitigation strategies, to measure and ensure integration success throughout the transition period.
  • Ensure alignment with deal rationale while providing regular updates to stakeholders and facilitating steering committee meetings.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and acquired entities.
  • Implement effective communication and change management strategies to support cultural alignment and employee engagement.
  • Oversee the alignment of systems, product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and customer service models.
  • Partner with HR to support onboarding and retention of key talent.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and financial requirements.
  • Track integration performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct post-integration reviews to capture lessons learned and enhance future integration playbooks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
  • Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated self-starter with a positive and ambitious mindset
  • 10+ years of experience in M&A integration, management consulting, corporate development, or strategic operations
  • Deep understanding of the fintech or financial services industry, with demonstrated experience in alternative investments preferred
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional integration initiatives
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-paced environments
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) is a plus

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 to $200,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
