Are you an experienced machinist who takes pride in precision work? Do you enjoy running manual lathes and mills to produce high-quality parts used in heavy industrial applications? If so, this opportunity may be a great fit for you. Our team specializes in repairing and producing remanufactured, aftermarket, and OEM hydraulic units and components that keep industries running—including paper mills, sawmills, steel plants, recycling facilities, oil & gas operations, and mobile equipment such as construction, utility, mining, agricultural, and marine machinery.

Compensation: $35– $40 per hour
Schedule: Swing shift, 3:00 pm – 11 pm, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up manual lathes and mills to machine cylinders and components with tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure parts meet precise specifications.
• Machine a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum bronze, and cast iron.
• Inspect finished workpieces for accuracy and quality.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with other machinists and welders to meet production goals.
• Perform additional machining tasks as needed.
  
   

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience operating manual mills and lathes (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and precision machining skills.
• Knowledge of Automotive/construction is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally climb ladders.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new techniques.
