About the Role

We’re hiring an in-office Marketing & Communications Specialist to lead content creation, messaging, and support our public-facing storytelling efforts. You’ll report directly to the Chief of Staff and work closely with our external PR firm , product, and commercial teams.

What You'll Do

• Draft press releases, talking points, and media content (in collaboration with our PR firm)
• Assist with messaging for product launches, media outreach, and event promotion
• Maintain brand consistency across platforms
• Write copy for emails, web pages, marketing materials, and internal docs
• Create one-pagers, PowerPoint presentations, training guides, and FAQs
• Develop and manage social media content for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram and Facebook
• Collaborate on campaign strategy and execution
• Conduct market and competitor research
• Track content performance and optimize based on engagement
• Assist with other general marketing and communication tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or PR (or equivalent skill set)
• Exceptional writing and editing skills; strong storytelling instincts
• Proficiency in PowerPoint; confident with visual presentation
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools
• Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to support content creation
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a mission that makes a real-world impact

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of WordPress, Webflow, or other CMS platforms
• Basic understanding of SEO and content analytics (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insights)
• Exposure to maternal health, medical devices, or healthtech

Compensation & Growth

• Hourly Rate: $40–$80/hour, based on experience
• Contract: Contract, with potential to convert to full-time
• Work Environment: In-person, collaborative startup culture in Denver
