Responsibilities

• Start patient intake process and document pertinent information
• Be present in the patient room during the interview
• Review and make changes to the treatment plan based on discussion with the providers
• Call insurance companies to verify insurance coverage and prior authorizations
• Call pharmacy to verify medications
• Prepare and inject patients with medications

Requirements

• MUST have active CMA license or RMA license and license number
• MUST be good with computers/technology (proficient in Microsoft office and Google)
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of MA practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary all clinical departments
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a highly stressful and emotional environment, behavioral health and/or suffering patients.

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between $16 to $20 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
