Rotating weekends and holidays. Part-time employees working less than 20 hours are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only. Job Responsibilities: Determine specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria. Perform routine and complex technical procedures per SOPs. Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation. Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving. Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls. Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care. Perform preventive maintenance and quality control procedures. Replenish testing supplies as needed. Assist with specimen processing when required. Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements. Minimum 1 year of clinical lab testing experience or an MLS degree. ASCP or AMT certification preferred. Ability to work independently and in a team. Proficient with computers; familiarity with LIS is a plus. High attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills. Must pass a color vision screen.
