The role focuses on cloud networking, infrastructure automation, and operational reliability across on-prem and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle). Key Responsibilities: Hybrid Network Architecture & Engineering (30%) Design and support cloud networking (VPCs, VNets, VPNs, Transit Gateways). Integrate SD-WAN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and other hybrid solutions. Implement Zero Trust Networking and software-defined networking (SDN). Ensure system scalability, performance, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and application integration. Infrastructure Automation & DevOps (40%) Automate network provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Integrate network changes into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on HA, security, and monitoring. Support container pipelines (Kubernetes, Docker). Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers. Drive automation and standardization of network configurations. Network Monitoring & Operations (20%) Manage network/system monitoring and incident response. Troubleshoot hybrid networking issues and maintain system uptime. Support post-incident root cause analysis and risk assessments. Provide on-call production support. Documentation & Process Improvement (10%) Document systems, network diagrams, and process improvements. Maintain asset inventories (cloud and on-prem). Create and update architectural documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4-5+ years in cloud and traditional network engineering. Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud networking. Proficient in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and hybrid connectivity. Hands-on with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation). Skilled in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and container networking. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with GitHub, configuration management, and monitoring tools.
