Nurse Extern Med Surg PRN Days Position Summary
The Nurse Extern role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for professional (RN) nursing students and to assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities, which includes participating in patient care planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, as well as reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse.
THE NURSE EXTERN MED SURG PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE. High school graduate or equivalent
Nursing Students who have completed their first clinical rotation of an accredited professional (RN) school of nursing program. Must have current BCLS certificationTenet Healthcare complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
