OTR Class A Owner Operator at Clean Harbors summary:

The OTR Class A Owner Operator is responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste across the northeast and southern U.S. regions using tractor-trailer units, ensuring safety compliance and proper load securing. The role requires a Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements and involves maintaining logs, invoicing, and vehicle inspections. Compensation includes mileage pay, hourly demurrage rates, and bi-weekly home time with a strong emphasis on health and safety.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Braintree, MA. This route runs from Braintree, MA. to various facilities throughout the northeast and the south regions . Averages 2700-3200 miles per week. Minimum 2 weeks out . Can be Domiciled - Cranston, RI,/ Braintree, MA/, Cohoes, NY,/ Bristol, CT,/ Baltimore, MD.

About the role:

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
