Job Description
  • Advise clients on private equity legal matters and investment management strategies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to private equity transactions.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence for investment opportunities and acquisitions.
  • Provide guidance on compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in the professional services industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support complex transactional projects.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and provide strategic legal counsel.
  • Assist in structuring and formation of private equity funds.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal developments in private equity and investment management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admittance to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
  • Strong experience in private equity and investment management within the professional services industry.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and team members.
