Job Description

Our client, a leading investment firm headquartered in San Francisco , is seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Associate to join their Secondaries & Co-Investments team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting senior deal professionals across all phases of the investment process, including financial analysis, due diligence, and the preparation of investment materials.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including forecasting, valuation, and return analyses
• Conduct industry and market research to support investment theses
• Analyze company performance, product lines, customer and vendor relationships, and competitive dynamics
• Monitor portfolio company performance and provide ongoing analytical support
• Draft and review bid letters, term sheets, and other transaction-related documentation
• Prepare and present materials for internal investment committee discussions

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity , with a focus on co-investments or secondaries
• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in finance, accounting, economics, or business
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities
• Proven expertise in financial statement analysis and corporate finance fundamentals
