Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop, lead, verify, and maintain the company’s Food Safety Plans and Programs.
• Ensure SQF documentation and FSMA compliance across all production areas.
• Conduct internal audits to validate system implementation and compliance.
• Validate Sanitation and Quality Control programs for ongoing effectiveness.
• Lead Management Reviews and collaborate on Crisis Management testing.
• Verify corrective and preventive actions; oversee complaint resolution processes.
• Train personnel on SQF and FSMA protocols.
• Assign food safety responsibilities and verify accountability across departments.
• Act as the primary approver of the Food Safety Plan and its revisions.

Qualifications – Needed

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Food Science, Microbiology, or related field).
• Certifications: SQF Practitioner Certification and PCQI/HACCP certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in Food Manufacturing QA or Food Safety role.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with SQF Standards, FSMA regulations, and Quality Systems.
• Soft Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, leadership-focused, and collaborative.
• Proven ability to develop and implement food safety programs, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement.
