Position Title: Radio Installation Technician

Salary: $45,760-$66,560 per hour 

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-4:00 (Mon-Fri)

Radio Installation Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install, program, and maintain land mobile radios and public safety communication systems.
- Installing mounted and grounded racks, patch panels, backboards, and related hardware.
- Provided training and technical support to end users.
- Meet with clients to assess needs and project requirements.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with maintenance of warehouse, offices, and multiple tower sites across north central Iowa.
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
- Maintain a professional image and commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth.

Radio Installation Technician Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly through 8hr. shift.
- Must be able to bend, squat, push, pull, twist, and crawl regularly through 8hr. shift.
- Must be able to grasp and use small hand tools regularly through 8hr. shift.
- Must be able to climb up ladders and work on roofs safely.
- Must be able to work in warm/cold conditions in garage.
- Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history. Please include details of your work experience on your resume.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Candidate *MUST HAVE* a valid driver’s license.
- Previous vehicle equipment installation experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Pervious experience reading blueprints/ schematics required.
- Previous experience with soldering and knowledge of telecom tools required.
