Department/Unit Summary
Join our team in a 9-bed Intensive Care Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. Our unit operates on a 2:1 ratio with two Hospitalists, a Pulmonologist and Telehealth intensivists for immediate support and manage a diverse range of diagnoses including respiratory failure, cardio/pulmonary disease, sepsis, and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, administering specialized treatments, monitoring critical conditions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This position provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where teamwork, critical thinking, and compassionate care are paramount.

Applicants should have a current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state. Additional requirements include:
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and maintained
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire and maintained thereafter
