The Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the release of software and infrastructure updates across multiple platforms. This individual ensures that all release activities are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, software development, or IT operations, along with excellent project management and communication skills. Own and manage the end-to-end release process, including scheduling, coordinating, and deployment of releases. Collaborate with development, QA, product, and operations teams to define release scope and content. Ensure that change control and release processes are followed consistently. Maintain documentation and change logs to ensure traceability and compliance. Coordinate deployment activities and ensure readiness across development, staging, and production environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during release cycles in collaboration with technical teams. Act as the central point of contact for all release-related communications. Provide timely and clear updates to stakeholders, including status, risks, and mitigations. Produce post-release reviews and continuous improvement plans. Identify and mitigate release-related risks and issues before they impact timelines or system stability. Implement best practices to minimize downtime and deployment failures.
