Job Description

Job Title: Production Assistant- Sculptor, Grinder, Repair Department

Reports To: ABK Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for assisting in production of projects of all kinds, with emphasis on Painting Department by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Ensures completion of projects within set time parameters.*

2. Coordinates with ABK manager for procuring shop supplies and equipment.*

3. Coordinates with ABK manager on sculpting/repair/grinding of client projects.*

4. Responsible for cleaning/organization of work station and shop space at large.*

5. Responsible for following all safety standards.*

6. Assists with onsite project installations.*

7. Responsible for following proper procedures for handling materials and equipment.*

8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year general art experience and/or training; or demonstrated sculpting skills; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Artistic ability- able to sculpt/repair antlers/horns from pictures
