Job Title: Signal Patrol Officer

Post Location: Signal Of Orlando

Schedule: Full time and/or Part time (WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED)

Pay Rate: $15 per hour for dedicated position. $17 per hour for Patrol position. (This is not an overnight pay differential, overnight patrol team is a different role than our dedicated officer.)

Shift/s: From 7pm to 5am (Shift end time can exceed 5am) (Detailed shift start and end time will be discussed during the in-person interview)

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a D License, and/or G License
• Clean Driving record
• Able to read, speak, and write in English
• Patrol officers must be ALERT, engaged and proactive.
• Officers must be able to conduct a variety of vehicle AND foot patrols on site, must be comfortable checking vacant units, responding to resident issues, contacting local law enforcement as needed.
• Must be able to appropriately support Signal and client property management with resident issues.
• All officers must be confident and comfortable with verbal de-escalation.
• Must be able to hit 30-50 stops a night with QUALITY patrolling and report writing.

Position Summary:

A Signal Patrol Officer role encompasses all dedicated requirements but varies from the below in duty specifically in a faster pace, time management and performing randomized but planned patrols of multiple sites throughout the shift. All duties listed below are minimum requirements additional duties listed in the site's Post Orders are requirements as well.

Essential Job Functions:

• Standing or walking for extended periods;
• Responding quickly to threats or emergencies;
• Completing incident reports;
• Maintaining situational awareness;
• Operating security technology; and
• In the case of a Patrol Officer or Dedicated vehicle post: driving a patrol vehicle on a scheduled patrol cycle for specific durations with limited idle times.

Responsibilities:

• Will conduct and deliver various dedicated services that reflect the company's values, expectations, and consistent service in alignment with site specific instructions/post orders.
• Will write detailed and accurate reports utilizing company technology and web or app-based software during each shift that align with site instruction/post orders.
• The Ability to consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instruction, follow dress code and appearance standards and expectations
• Interacting with internal and external customers on site cultivating a customer service relationship while striving to provide peace of mind.
• Consistently communicates with the Advanced Dedicated Guard or the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property related information and concerns.
• Responsible for the care of any Signal equipment assigned during shift including radios, access keys/cards, vehicles, and devices, etc.
• Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
• Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.
• Communicate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum, such as the client needs and post order changes to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass background check and drug test
• Must have reliable transportation
• Complete training modules within first month
• Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
• Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
