As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in a financial institution environment, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and guests, helping to create a welcoming and secure-related atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence at the front desk. You will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by responding promptly to inquiries and addressing concerns with professionalism and care. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to situations as needed.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Assist with visitor management, including issuing badges and maintaining visitor logs as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with site protocols, providing guidance to occupants as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
