As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols of designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and proactive engagement. This position is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using company vehicles. Your ability to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication will be essential as you interact with employees, visitors, and vendors. Pay Rate: $20.53 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership regarding incidents, concerns, or emergencies.
• Assist visitors, contractors, and employees with access control procedures as required by site policies.
• Support the maintenance of a secure environment by monitoring entrances, exits, and other critical areas during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving responsibilities.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
