As a Security Officer - Government Site Patrol- Morning Shift in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for all who visit and work there. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be a reliable presence, ready to respond to situations as they arise and to communicate clearly with both staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
