KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. The SIGINT Flight Engineer will join an elite team in Aurora, CO providing Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services focused on SIGINT collection systems and systems engineering. Responsibilities include representing the government in spacecraft integration, test, launch, and on-orbit operations; conducting anomaly support, launch and mission readiness, and space systems architecture analysis; maintaining communications with program acquisition office and customer engineering organizations; overseeing mission operations to ensure health, safety, and effective use of resources; and providing launch and mission readiness expertise. The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM with relevant experience, expertise in spacecraft, payload, launch vehicle engineering, SIGINT systems engineering, and strong communication skills. Desired qualifications include real-time spacecraft operations experience, project management experience, familiarity with Digital Engineering/MBSE, Agile, cloud technologies, contract management, and tools like Jira and Confluence.
