Hardscrabble Hospitality – NYC Restaurants

We’re looking for a smart, creative college student to join us this summer as a paid Social Media Intern. You’ll work across all of our NYC restaurants: Loring Place, Greywind, The Bakery at Greywind, Spygold, and Washington Squares.

• Create and manage weekly content calendars (with support from our team)
• Shoot and edit photo/video content for Instagram and TikTok
• Stay on top of social trends and use them to create timely, on-brand content
• Post content and engage with our audience (comments, DMs, reposts)
• Help capture and promote seasonal dishes, events, and campaigns

What You Need:

• Strong interest in creating social content, especially Reels and TikToks
• Experience with short-form video editing (CapCut, InShot, Canva, etc.)
• Ability to identify dishes correctly and use accurate language from the menu (e.g., don’t confuse “salmon with sugar snaps” for a “sugar snap pea salad”)
• Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and being organized
• Based in NYC or able to travel to our Manhattan locations regularly

Bonus:

• You love food and follow what’s happening in NYC restaurants
• You can share examples of social content you’ve created (school projects or personal work)
