Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for experienced Special Education Teachers to support elementary students in a dynamic school environment. The positions are full-time contract roles focused on providing specialized instruction and resources tailored to diverse student needs.

Positions Available:

• Elementary Self-Contained Special Education Teacher
• Elementary Resource Special Education Teachers (Pre-K to Grade 2), including one split role with responsibilities at two locations.

Location:

• Arlington Heights, IL area
• Elementary school settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals.
• Deliver specialized instruction in self-contained or resource settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student performance and behavior.
• Participate in team meetings and progress reviews.
• Maintain compliance with district and state special education policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in both self-contained and resource capacities.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavior management techniques.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high-quality instruction.

This contract role has a duration approximately through June 5, 2026, with employment commencing ASAP. Full-time schedule is approximately 32.5 hours per week with an unpaid 30-minute lunch.
