Staff Accountant – Glenview, IL

Bestview International, a leading importer and distributor in the home improvement industry, is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at our Glenview, IL head office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, accounting records, and related reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Manage monthly financial closings and coordinate with external CPA firms on quarterly and year-end financial reports.
• Monitor daily accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and inventory activities; follow up on outstanding receivables on a weekly basis.
• Support bookkeeping daily operations.
• Conduct sales activity analysis and assist in sales forecasting.
• Develop quarterly budgets for inventory planning and cash flow management.
• Maintain and enhance accounting and inventory systems, including documentation and recordkeeping.
• Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese preferred.
