System Administrator (Virtualization) Cadence Coalition is looking to grow our team of IT experts in Virtual Infrastructure while delivering high quality IT services to our customers on NITES. We are seeking highly qualified and experienced individuals with a passion to learn and dedication to providing reliable services in support of the NORAD and NORTHCOM mission. You will need to be self-motivated, creative and be able to work autonomously and within a team in an on-site environment. Daily duties will include operating and maintaining a robust network of virtual machines and the servers that host them to achieve day to day objectives with significant results on project or operational deliverables. You must be an effective communicator, comfortable directly engaging with customers and colleagues. You must also demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to technical challenges. Basic Qualifications: · Secret with TS/SCI capable · Bachelor's Degree and 2 years', Associate and 5 years', High School diploma/GED and 10 years' Virtualization Specialist · Experience with Virtualization software · VMware vSphere ESXi 6.x or higher · VMware Horizon 6.x or higher · Nutanix · SAN Experience using storage mediums · EMC FC/ EMC VNX2e NFS / NETApps NAS · Windows 2019, 2022, 2025 Server. · Windows 11 Workstation. · Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification (Security+ce or equivalent) · Demonstrated proficiency in managing and troubleshooting virtualization infrastructure. · Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, practices, and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: · Current Top Secret/SCI clearance · CASP | SecurityX or equivalent · VMware Certified Professional · (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) · ITIL 4 Foundation Certification · Prior work with VMware Horizon for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) · Prior Experience with Nutanix AOS, AHV · Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or PowerCLI for automation tasks. · Prior work and or experience with Military commands and comprehension of its mission and IT environment.
