\n\nTravel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nCath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work day shift rotating weekends with 7-10 hour shifts
\n• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week assignment
\n• Call requirements included
\n• Floating as needed per Methodist Floating Policy
\n• 2+ years of hospital experience required
\n• Must have scrub assist skills during cardiac and EP diagnostic and interventional procedures
\n• Able to operate cardiac stimulator (Bloom) and use MacLab recorder
\n• Must be able to use MacLab system to record, measure and document during various cardiac procedures
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Active TX RN License required (temporary license not accepted)
\n• RCIS or RCES certification required
\n• Perform cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, vascular procedures, and EP scrub assist
\n• Work with adult patient population
\n• Use equipment including MacLab, Volcano IVUS, MacLab hemo monitoring, Philips FD 20 and FD 10
\n• Documentation using Meditech and MacLab systems
\n• Facility provides scrubs for Cath Lab staff
\n• Must maintain clean and healthy nails, neat hair with no extreme styles or colors
\n• Body art should be covered whenever possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited
