• Perform a variety of complex laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease\n\t
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of lab results to medical staff\n\t
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments\n\t
• Adhere to quality control standards and safety protocols\n\t
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to provide accurate diagnostic support\n\t
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics\n

\n Education and Certification Requirements: \n\n

\n\t
• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field\n\t
• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required\n\t
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred\n\t
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical laboratory experience\n\t
• Recent Blood Bank (BB) experience required\n
