Focus Staff is seeking a travel EKG Technician for a travel job in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
Job Description & Requirements Prints initial EKG strips at the beginning of every shift and when there is a change in rhythm. Completes EKG interpretations including: rate, regularity, PRI, QRS, QTI, ST segment, wave form alterations, and rhythm interpretation. Ensures strip interpretations are validated by RN.
Completes an initial accurate EKG interpretation including heart rate, PRI, QRS, QT, ST segment, and wave abnormalities. Includes signature, date, time & title on strips. Gives strips to Charge Nurse or appropriate RN for verification. Places strips in charts.
